Licensing
Do you offer Test or Trial Fonts?
We're taking a unique approach. Our site includes interactive type testers and a full character set, allowing you to easily visualize and explore each typeface. You'll also find specimen displays that showcase design and composition possibilities, along with an In Use section highlighting how other designers and brands have used our typefaces.
While we aim to make our typefaces accessible to all creators, as a small independent foundry, we're also committed to protecting and managing our work thoughtfully.
If you'd like to evaluate the fonts or use them in a pitch or client presentation, we recommend purchasing an Individual License, which is intended specifically for evaluation purposes.
Please note: An Individual License is intended solely for personal evaluation and client presentations. It does not permit commercial use, production work, or use by companies, agencies, or teams of two or more people.
Once your project is approved, contact us to upgrade to the appropriate license. We'll credit the full cost of your Individual License toward the new license, so you only pay the difference.
I purchased a Desktop License but would like to exchange it for a Web License. Is that allowed?
No, licenses can’t be transferred between platforms. Each license comes with specific conditions, formats, and pricing based on its intended use. All font software sales are final, so please take a moment to review your order and our Terms of Use before purchasing.
I previously purchased an individual license. Can I use the typeface for client work, or do I need a new license?
Since you already have an individual license, you're covered for pitching ideas to your client. However, if your client decides to use the typeface, they will need to purchase their own license based on the intended use (e.g., Desktop, Web, App, or Logo) and company size. Please note that sharing the font software with third parties requires a special license. Read more about our licensing options.
Do you offer discounts for students?
Yes! we’re happy to offer a 20% student discount on an individual license! To claim yours, just reach out to us with proof of enrollment, and we’ll send you a discount code to use at checkout.
The Studio
I like some of the graphics on your site; are you planning to launch some merch?
Yes! We love merch, but we want to do it responsibly by sourcing materials from companies committed to sustainability. There’s already too much waste on our planet, and we don't want to add to that problem. We'll likely release limited quantities of items such as specimens, posters, tote bags, and t-shirts. We're also open to ideas and collaborations!
What's the difference between Typozon.xyz and Typozon.com?
Both sites are part of Typozon LLC. Typozon.xyz focuses on type design and type consultancy work, while Typozon.com is dedicated exclusively to brand and identity systems. Both sites are managed by the same owner.
Do you hire perople to work on projects?
As a small business, we’re not able to hire full-time employees at this time, but we do collaborate with type designers and font developers on a contract basis.
