Typozon® is an independent type foundry and typeface design studio based in New York City, creating original fonts, commercial font licenses, and custom typefaces for brands, designers, and creatives worldwide. Inspired by nature, our work explores the expressive potential of typography through original letterforms and font families that balance character, versatility, and craftsmanship.
We are constantly working towards finding the right balance between form and function on every typeface project we create. We believe that good design has a soul, and people naturally feel more connected to design that speaks not only to their eyes but to their core.

Nature is our primary source of inspiration, showing us how functionality and beauty can harmonize effortlessly. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to integrity, we design products that are expressive and enhance clear communication and genuine connection. Work
Whether designing for retail or a specific client, we aim to bring a unique point of view to every project. We pay special attention to where two or more ideas intersect in distinctive ways; often, the focus isn’t on the obvious but on what surrounds it. We love telling stories through design, and typography is a powerful vehicle—not just for creating tools but for delivering messages that resonate and transcend.
Process
We believe ideation and research are key to finding uniqueness, so our exploratory phase focuses on shapes that honor the essence. Through calligraphy, sketching, and Bézier drawing, we bring forms to life, gathering insights from both functional and aesthetic perspectives. Finally, we refine our prototypes through rounds of testing before moving into full development, ensuring quality meets our standards.
